The DSAA is an international association of driving school owners. Their membership is comprised of driving school owners, including entrepreneurs, public and private school teachers, former examiners, transportation and safety experts. Most work across the United States and Canada, though several other countries have been represented over the years.
The Pennsylvania Association of Professional Driving Schools has been representing the interests of driving schools in Pennsylvania Since 1959. The PAPDS has developed a good working relationship with the Pennyslvania Department of Tranportation (PennDOT) and other state offices to ensure the positive developement of professional driver training across the state of Pennsylvania.

Nobody knows driver safety training like the people who pioneered it more than 50 years ago. The National Safety Council created the first defensive driving course in 1964 and has been the leader in driver safety training ever since.
The Pennsylvania Association for Safety Education, Inc. (PASE) was organized in 1949 and incorporated in 1966. The Association represents driver educators and other traffic safety professionals as they strive to improve highway safety efforts in the Commonwelath of Pennsylvania.
