Behind The Wheel

All of the lessons will now be done from our office in Lansdale.  At DTS we strive to provide services that have the highest value for our students and follow our state regulated programs. Having the students come to our office allows us to concentrate on the basics of judgment, understanding, and properly acting in all situations. We are building on their skills at each lesson. Our lesson routes are well planned and highly effective in reaching the goals of our students, getting a PA driving license! 

***AS OF SEPTEMBER 1, 2023 THERE WILL BE A PRICE CHANGE***

SILVER PACKAGE is 3 lessons only and you will take you driver's exam with PennDot. You can upgrade this package to a Gold package for $75 (see below), and test with DTS.

• Due to rapid inflation in fuel costs all lessons will be done from the DTS office, 634 E Main Street, Lansdale, 19446.   
• Three 2 hour lessons (This package qualifies for an insurance discount please call your insurance agent for more details on the discounts they offer)
• We build on each of our lessons, so we schedule each lesson according to the student's skill level. All of our instructors are leaders in their field, subject matter experts and accomplished teachers who are professional, licensed and are continually receiving updated training.
• Skills covered: starting, signaling, stopping, steering, turning, backing up, intersections, three-point turns, parking, school bus safety, railroad crossings, sharing the road (other vehicles and pedestrians) and entering/exiting highways. 
• Our lessons should be used as a learning tool for the student’s driving practice with their parents (Students under the age of 18 need 65 hours of practice behind the wheel as part of their license requirement).
• You can add on a 1 1/2 lesson for $144, test prep for $105, or a 30 hour online theory course for $95. We can do this at the first lesson.
• Once you sign up online we will call you to schedule your first lesson

Cost for the Silver package is $575 (This amount includes a non-refundable registration fee of $100.00)
