During all of our behind-the-wheel training packages, Driver Training Services instructors teach students everything they need to know to become safe, defensive drivers. This includes building all of the necessary skills which will be tested by PennDOT license examiners.
During the training period, we focus on building basic precision control of the vehicle and defensive driver concepts. We do not teach on or around roads used during the test. While most of our students do pass the exam on their first try, our primary concern is teaching them the skills they need to survive the rest of their lives on the open roads.
The PennDOT exam tests students in three primary areas: precision vehicle control, road rules knowledge and defensive driving techniques. Our training curriculum addresses and reinforces all of these each lesson, preparing students well for the actual test.
We are confident our students are among the best, safest drivers on the road, and we are proud to offer to take them to their driver’s exam with our “Accompany To Test” service. This service is included with the purchase of any 8-hour, 10-hour, 18-hour or 65-hour training package. It can also be added to our 6-hour package.
