For teens and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnoses including Asperger’s Syndrome, as well as those with other learning disabilities including dyslexia, learning all the skills necessary to get a driver’s license and have the confidence to be a safe driver may seem insurmountable. Simulator time can help provide a solid foundation while learning at an individual pace in a safe environment. Simulators are indispensable tools used in determining an individual’s cognitive and reaction skills, particularly when limitations may exist due to age, medical conditions or disabilities.
This program consists of five 1-hour training sessions on our simulator for just $289.00. At the end of the program, your instructor will recommend either continuing training on the simulator or progressing to behind-the-wheel instruction, depending upon the student’s performance.
ENROLL TODAY, and an instructor will call you to schedule as soon as possible.
Simulators can also be used to retrain drivers safely following a traumatic brain injury. We have a driving rehabilitation curriculum available that may help get you safely back behind the wheel. Driver errors are tracked and a detailed assessment is provided upon completion of each session, allowing the instructor to review and reinforce areas of weakness, customizing subsequent training.
