U.S. Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood has announced that he will not stay on for a second term in President Obama’s cabinet. Secretary LaHood was a strong advocate for behavioral change in our nation’s drivers, and made vigorous efforts to reduce distracted and drunk driving. In a press release, the Governor’s Highway Safety Association (GHSA) said this of LaHood: “Never before had a DOT Secretary been so dedicated to addressing driver behavior, which continues to account for the vast majority of traffic deaths.”

No, we at Driver Training Services don’t actually teach toddlers how to drive. We won’t train anyone under the age of 16 behind the wheel. But as parents, you’ve been teaching your child to drive all of her life.
One teen was killed and another critically injured in a crash on Old Jacksonville Road in Northhampton Township on Saturday, December 8. The crash happened at about 2:00PM on a Saturday afternoon.
At Driver Training Services, we train hundreds of kids each year behind the wheel and in our classroom programs. We like to make the training as fun and interactive as possible while maximizing the education they receive. Periodically, we run contests and challenges for our kids. We look to our business partners and the community at large to help us by providing prizes we can give away to our students.
