AAA Show Your Card And SaveAs of December 25, 2011, PA state law requires teens to have a minimum of 65 hours of supervised training behind the wheel before they can test for their driver’s license.  This package meets all state requirements, including at least ten hours of night driving and five hours of inclement weather (rain, fog, snow or ice).

We live in a busy age, and many parents simply don’t have the time to devote to training their teens.  All too often, our instructors see student logbooks with parental lessons just 10-15 minutes long – usually quick trips to the store or school.  These just aren’t enough to prepare your student for a lifetime of safe driving on dangerous roads.

Let’s face it – driving a car is probably the most dangerous thing your child will ever do (unless he/she goes off to war).  They’ll be operating a two-ton weapon of mass destruction at speeds several times higher than the limit of human survivability in the event of an impact.  Every second they’re out there, they’ll need to make life-or-death decisions and be threatened by a variety of hazards, including weather, animals, road debris, distracted/aggressive/drunk drivers and even the unbreakable laws of physics.

A six or ten hour package of professional instruction is a great start – so long as you can commit to continuing their education on your own.  But you’ve probably hired an instructor for more hours than that to teach them to sing or play the clarinet, and those skills won’t keep them alive on the roads.

The 65 hours of supervised training required by state law are vital for your teen to learn and master all types of road environments and safe, defensive driving techniques.  They’ll be driving on a daily basis for the rest of their lives – why not give them the best possible start?  Let us cover all the state-required time, and whenever you can get them out for extra practice, it’s the gravy on top.

Driver Training Services offers 65 hours of behind the wheel training at a package price of just $4225.  That’s a savings of $650 off the regular hourly rate.  And, you can make easy monthly payments based upon your schedule.  Unlike other investments you’ve made in your teen’s education, this is something they’ll depend upon for survival for the rest of their life.

You can download a PDF file of the 65-hour Training Curriculum here.  You’ll need a PDF reader software installed on your computer – if you don’t have one, you can get Adobe Reader free here.
